Archaeological Monitoring of Excavations for the West Abutment of the Provencher Pedestrian Bridge
Monitoring of construction consisting of auger drilling and mechanized excavation yielded only 12 Postcontact artifacts in the following categories: food processing and glass and ceramic storage and dinnerware containers. Containers are identified by manufacturer where possible, and stratigraphy is discussed in detail.

Archaeological Monitoring of the Construction of the Eastbound Component of the Provencher Paired Bridges
Monitoring of mechanized excavation and drilling allowed for recovery of diagnostic artifacts and recording of stratigraphic profiles. Artifacts were recovered from 2 main periods of deposition: around World War I and post-1950. The following categories were represented: architectural objects; lighting and manufacturing equipment; medicine; communication; food processing; commerce; clothing; recreation; adornment; transportation; faunal and floral remains; storage, cooking, ornamental containers; dinnerware. A brief historical overview covers the early 1820s to 1955, and stratigraphy is detailed by layer.

Archaeological Monitoring of The Forks Axial Pathway from Esplanade Riel (Pedestrian Bridge) to VIA Rail Station
Monitoring of auger drilling included recording of soil stratigraphy but did not yield any artifacts. Stratigraphy is discussed in detail for each excavated component: water feature profiles; wet well profile; site drainage catchbasin; peace meeting interpretive node profiles; and tree planting trenches. The report concludes that the sub-surface components of the pathway had no impact on archaeological resources.

Geo-Technical Monitoring and the Heritage Resource Management Program for the West Roads Project
Monitoring of drilling yielded Precontact artifacts (2658) from lithic, ceramic, faunal and floral categories in three cultural horizons associated with dates of AD 1040 and AD 1285, and with the Aboriginal Peace Meeting 600 years ago. Historic artifacts (74) representing categories of: architectural objects; lighting equipment; communication; storage, ornamental and dinnerware containers; and floral and faunal remains. They are related to archival data from the early Immigration (1870-1888) and Railway (1888-1988) periods. Stratigraphy is discussed in detail, and stratigraphic profiles are included in appendices. A resource management plan is outlined.
